About

Therapy can be a powerful, life changing experience for those who are trying to navigate an internal or external struggle alone. My therapeutic approach is based on establishing a genuine, trusting relationship with clients. I feel this creates an environment to explore ourselves honestly and to facilitate the potential for personal growth.

At this time, my practice is comprised of children, adolescents and adults. My treatment orientation includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, among others. While I find a psychodynamic approach to therapy is helpful, I often use behavioral approaches.

A lot of us today are operating automatically- continuing to repeat the same series of behaviors. In order to create change, it is important for us to understand how our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are interconnected. When we become aware of this dynamic, intrapersonal growth begins to flourish.
